14 july 2019 - Opole, ul. Harcerska. Krótki, trwający 65 godzin objazd związany z remontem przejazdu kolejowego na ul. Budowlanych spowodował konieczność skierowanie linii 10 na trasę objazdową Harcerską. Ulicą tą nie kursują regularne linie MZK - choć w roku szkolnym, w dni robocze zaprzyjaźniona brygada 1010 pojawia się tu raz dziennie jako przewóz szkolny. A w tle opolska elektrociepłownia w całej okazałości.

23 august 2019 - Domecko, Castle St. The 80 line has been running for almost eight years and has an extremely stable offer, 4 trips a day. 547 her last trip goes to Pucnik to take one person back. The trip from the Dambonia terminus lasts about 20 minutes.

Jaka jest opolska komunikacja miejska?
Przed wyjazdem wydawała mi się niezbyt imponująca pod względem oferty przewozowej. Uwieczniona na zdjęciu linia nr 3 jest jedynym połączeniem bez zmiany częstotliwości 15-minutowej w międzyszczycie dnia powszedniego na większej części trasy. Jak na 120-tysięczny ośrodek miejski jest to nawet więcej, niż rozczarowujące. Po teorii przyszedł czas na praktykę.
Układ linii i podaż kursów bardzo przypomina Zieloną Górę (nawet Opole rozszerzyło swoje granice w kontrowersyjny sposób jak zielonogórski odpowiednik) - czyli mała liczba połączeń priorytetowych (o największej częstotliwości), ale równocześnie prawie wszystkie linie są wspomagającymi. Uwzględniając koordynację na ciągach komunikacyjnych, to nie jest źle. Tym bardziej, że na szczyt komunikacyjny niektóre linie stają się priorytetowymi ze względu na podwojenie częstotliwości. Oczywiście dalej jest to w większości socjalna oferta przewozowa, ponieważ "na mieście" jest pełno samochodów, a pasażerowie przeważnie byli "ulgowi" lub "darmowi". Jednak to nie jest poziom przykładowo Kalisza. Jest po prostu średnio jak na polskie warunki.
Mocną stroną jest tabor autobusowy, do którego nie można się przyczepić, jeżeli rozpatrujemy jego wiek i komfort. Również pod względem dostosowania podaży do popytu. Duża liczba miejsc siedzących (autobusy 15- i 18-metrowe) przemawia za zwiększeniem komfortu nie tylko w podróży po centrum miasta oraz bliskich osiedlach, ale również do odległych dzielnic lub sołectw.
Infrastruktura przystankowa jest "zwykła" (bez szaleństw projektowych), czyli przyzwoita. Na dużą pochwałę zasługuje duża liczba tablic dynamicznej informacji przystankowej i biletomaty.
Cennik biletów i ich rodzaje nie odstają od innych, średnich ośrodków miejskich poza jednym szczegółem - mając opolską kartę miejską i bilet okresowy, można podróżować na terenie Opola pociągami regionalnymi. Jest to ewenement w polskich warunkach w mieście, które nie jest częścią dużej aglomeracji.
Podsumowując - przede wszystkim należy zwiększać częstotliwość kursowania linii, poza tym obecnie oferowany standard jest wystarczający.

16 september 2019 - Opole, Wodociągowa St. It`s been roughly 35 years since this street last saw regular line. It was used by lines 11 and 15. It was back in the days when Sosnkowskiego and Rataja Streets weren`t build yet and this was basically the only link to new ZWM district. Today it`s only temporary detour caused be the reconstruction of Oleska St.

4 august 2019 - Opole, Kowalczyków St. Line`s 21 detour was much weirder then the one of 3, 11 and 16. At the Rejtana terminus it made a U-turn, came back all the way to Plebiscytowa and went via Fabryczna, Kowalczyków and Mieszka I.

11 july 2019 - Opole, Powstańców Warszawskich St., the bypass. The line 28 is recently very interesting, because it has got remarkable detours. Here we can see a detour caused by the reconstruction of the railway crossing on Częstochowska St. Another thing is that every day it`s difficult to travel by bus on the road with increased speed ;)

30 june 2020 - Opole, Teligi St. Concrete monument behind the bus stop dates back to year 1934. It commemorated german World War I victims from Malina. Back then it was standalone village, now part of Opole. After World War II monument was repurposed to commemorate soviet soldiers. In the year 2018 all inscriptions referring to Russians were sanded down.
