29 september 2008 - Sibiu, Romania – depot/zajezdnia. This trolleybus is either being scrapped or being repaired – its sometimes difficult to know which. The message on the front says it was a gift to Sibiu from Lausanne in Switzerland – nice to know they appreciated it.....

29 september 2008 - Sibiu, Romania – Gara CFR. The Sibiu trolleybus system has had mixed fortunes in recent years. For a while, it scarcely operated at all, then an influx of new (second-hand) Swiss vehicles and new overhead equipment allowed some expansion, but now it seems to be on the decline again, with just three lines operating. This bus crossing the railway station bridge came originally from Lausanne and dates right back to 1951.
