I hardly know anything technical about trams, but I read somewhere recently that the axles on these new Urbos aren`t really axles, but separate wheels. The two wheels on one side are driven by one motor, while the wheels on the other side are driven by another motor. In curves, the motors run at different speeds to make up for the different travel length on outer and inner rails. Is that better?
