The OmniExpress model was introduced in 2007 and is for what I know only available on the nordic markets, which means Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark. It is built by Lahden Autokori in Lahti, Finland. It was probably introduced due to the fact that the Irizar models never have been very popular up here. We don't like spanish build-quality and the heaters in them don't work properly in our "arctic" climate. Also, finnish-made buses have always been popular in our countries, so when Volvo bought Carrus and made them exclusive to Volvo, Scania lost quite a lot of market share, at least in Norway. The nordic markets (except Denmark) are also quite special because Volvo and Scania are the only brands with any big market share.
