26 march 2010 - York, Micklegate. Transdevowi ostatnio coś nie idzie z Coastlinerem. Jeszcze dwa lata temu między Leeds, Yorkiem a wybrzeżem kursowały piętrusy z piętnastominutową częstotliwością. Zastąpiono je ze względów komercyjnych autobusami pojedynczymi – obniżając liczbę dostępnych siedzeń o około 1/3.

The Versas are additional to the original service and they only run between Leeds and Heworth. The through routes out to the coast are still in the hands of the double-deckers. The reason for all this is that First introduced a competing service between Leeds and York and Transdev upped their game to retaliate. First have just announced the cancellation of their service, though, so it'll be interesting to see what happens on the Coastliner side of things over the next months.
