To jedna z ważniejszych linii na północnych przedpolach Berlina - łączy Oranienburg (końcówka S1) z Hennigsdorfem (końcówka S25) przez miasteczko Velten, do którego dawno temu też docierał S-bahn. W dni robocze kursuje nawet co 20 minut.
