12 april 2014 - London (UK) - Holborn Viaduct. Last Saturday, the London Bus Museum celebrated 75 years since the introduction of the famous `RT` type bus, by completely taking over one of the routes in Central London with these buses. Nearly twenty vehicles were in use, giving free rides all day. Here, RT1431, now belonging to Ensign Bus, approaches Holborn on a journey to Piccadilly Circus. Not an entirely standard RT, however, as this bus was one of a small batch built with a Cravens body - note that it has five windows along the lower deck, instead of the more usual four. For this reason, the Cravens RTs were sold out of service before most of the other types.
