16 september 2013 - Portland, NW 11h Ave. Tramwaj był częścią szerszego projektu rewitalizacji starych poprzemysłowych terenów w północnym śródmieściu. Na miejscu dawnych magazynów i fabryk wyrosły nowe, wielopiętrowe budynki mieszkalne i usługowe. Zwolennicy streetcarów twierdzą że to one były głównym stymulantem rozwoju i odnowy, ale to jednak nie do końca tak.
