19 august 2014 - Hamburg - Landungsbrücken. DT5 are the new toys for Hamburg`s subway. By 2017, 67 of them are going to be put into service. The contract can be extended for further 60 trainsets. As the DT4 they`re equipped with a sprinkler system for fire fighting. Compared to the previous vehicles, DT5 is the first to have air conditioning. The cars are being introduced into operation on lines U3 and U4 since 2013.
