Two sisters serving internal needs of the airport that is used also by the US Army (Navy?) base.
A history of the carrier is a cliché among operators in Azores. Found in the early fifties as an union of even smaller carriers, became a monopolist at the island. Services include all type of regular, school, tourism and pilgrims` operations as well as (at least in the 20th century) services for US soldiers/marines based at the island.
