1 march 2015 - Budapest, Hero`s square. Actually, this is the newest trolleybus of Budapest in this pic. As you might know, Ikarus 412 series is not so successfull in our capital city because of their weak bodyframe, that`s why BKV started to scrap them quite early. But they had a crazy idea: let`s make trolleybus of them! A brand new bodyframe needed to be constructed and built, the traction motor and other electronic parts came from a formerly scrapped Ikarus 280.94 (GVM). Additionaly, it is equipped with air conditioners and batteries, so it can run a few kilometres without wire too. An other one (with number 721) is under construction, but the future of this project is an issue, because new Solaris trolleybuses will arrive in this year, so hopefully there will be no need this kind of `home-made` vehicles in long term.

10 july 2006 - Budapeszt, Attila ut. Jak podaje baza autobus już skasowany. 412tki wyróżniało ładne wg mnie malowanie - ciekawsze niż obecny błękitny schemat. Czy ktoś wie czy te prostokątne reflektory przednie były produkowane tylko do Ikarusów 400, czy też występowały również gdzieś indziej?

23 may 2014 - Tallinn, pętla Vaike-Oismae. Tutejsze przedsiębiorstwo posiada pięć takich Ikarusów, z czego cztery sa czynne. W dniu mojego pobytu podobnie jak Skody, madziary jeździły tylko na szczytach.

14 september 2013 - Postarali się i pieczołowicie przygotowali wóz do drogi. W pierwszej chwili zastanawiałem się wieczorem czy nie jestem przypadkiem pijany nie słysząc w IK412 ani jednego stuku z podwozia. Po kilku kilometrowej wycieczce na kemping stwierdziłem, że kultura pracy tego autobusu jest niemal tak dobra jak w obecnie produkowanych niskopodłogowcach.

14 september 2013 - Polgár, M3 Archeopark. W tym roku BKV się postawiło. Przysłali IK412, IK435, IK415 i dwa IK260. Szkoda, że nie odważyli się wysłać IK180, ciągle nie mam okazji się nim przejechać.
